Kate received her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Loras College and her Master of Arts in Marriage & Family Therapy from Mount Mercy University. Kate has worked in mental health since 2010 and has been a therapist since 2013. Kate is a Licensed Marriage & Family Therapist (LMFT).
Kate provides virtual counseling services and primarily works with teens and adults. Kate specializes in codependency, boundaries, relational issues, & self-esteem. Kate also works with those experiencing anxiety, depression, & life adjustments.
Kate has been an EMDR Trained Therapist since 2018. EMDR is an extremely effective treatment approach that enables people to heal from the symptoms and emotional distress that are the result of disturbing life experiences. EMDR allows for the mind to heal from psychological trauma leading to a more authentic connection with self and improved genuine connection with others.
Kate can meet with anyone in the State of Iowa virtually, which eliminates barriers of transportation, drive time, inclement weather, and illness.
Kate began her career with RISE in June 2022.
