Alyssa received her Bachelor of Arts from Central College and her Master of Arts in School Counseling and Clinical Mental Health Counseling from the University of Northern Iowa. She has been a school counselor since 2017, and a temporary Licensed Mental Health Counselor (tLMHC) since September 2024.
Alyssa provides counseling services at our Elkader office & virtually. She has a lot of experience working with K-12 students on inattention, hyperactivity, and mood disorders. She also specializes in anxiety, as well as crisis management and suicidal ideation.
Alyssa began her career with RISE in November 2024.
