Alyssa received her Bachelor of Arts from Central College and her Master of Arts in School Counseling and Clinical Mental Health Counseling from the University of Northern Iowa. Alyssa has been a school counselor since 2017 and a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (tLMHC) since September 2024.
Alyssa will be working within the North Fayette Valley School District to provide mental health services to students. She will primarily be located at West Union Elementary (PreK-3rd Grade) and North Fayette Valley High School (9th-12th Grade). Alyssa has a lot of experience working with K-12 students on inattention, hyperactivity, as well as anxiety and mood disorders. Alyssa specializes in anxiety as well as crisis management and suicidal ideation.
Alyssa began her career with RISE in November 2024.
