Intern - Manchester / Virtual
She/Her/Hers

Brittany Wheeler holds a Bachelor of Science in Applied Psychology with an emphasis in Clinical Counseling and is currently completing a Master of Arts in Clinical Mental Health Counseling with an emphasis in Marriage and Family Therapy from Colorado Christian University.

Through our intern rate, Brittany provides office-based services in our Manchester office as well as offering virtual sessions. Brittany is passionate about helping individuals of all ages—children, teens, adults—as well as couples and families develop more fulfilling relationships. She strives to create a warm, collaborative, non-judgmental space where each person feels heard and valued.
Her approach is rooted in systems thinking—meaning, she pays attention to how relationships, environments, and patterns shape one’s overall well-being. She has training in Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT) and play therapy. Whether she is helping couples improve their communication, guiding families through transitions, or assisting individuals in managing stress, anxiety, or life's challenges, her goal is to foster connection, resilience, and meaningful growth that leads to lasting change.

Brittany began her internship with RISE in January 2026.
