Megan Bergfeld holds a Bachelor of Arts in Social Work and a Master of Social Work with a Trauma Informed Care Specialization from the University of Northern Iowa. She became a Licensed Master Social Worker (LMSW) in June 2026.
Megan provides office-based services in our Cascade office, as well as virtual sessions. Working with individuals aged 10+, she helps them navigate symptoms of anxiety, depression, and self-esteem challenges, as well as supporting those managing chronic illness and major phase-of-life adjustments. Additionally, Megan has experience working with the geriatric population.
In her practice, she utilizes a Trauma-Informed Care framework alongside evidence-based modalities including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and a strengths-based approach to tailor treatment to each client's unique developmental needs.
Megan is deeply passionate about the power of human connection and centers her approach on building strong, collaborative, and authentic relationships. She utilizes a holistic framework, recognizing that mental well-being is deeply connected to a person's physical health, environment, and daily lifestyle.
Viewing therapy as a partnership, Megan offers a safe, non-judgmental space where clients feel truly heard and valued. By emphasizing a person-centered philosophy, she focuses on unlocking each individual's inherent strengths, helping them develop healthy coping strategies, and empowering them to live their lives to the absolute fullest.
Megan began as an Administrative Assistant in May 2024, continued with RISE as an intern in September 2025, and began as a therapist in June 2026.
