Anna holds a Bachelor of Arts in English and Religious Studies, with a minor in Health and Human Services, from Wake Forest University. She earned her Master of Arts in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Regent University in December 2025 and became a temporary Licensed Mental Health Counselor (tLMHC) in January 2026.
Anna provides office-based and virtual counseling services out of our Maquoketa location. She works with individuals ages 14 and older. She is passionate about helping individuals navigate the effects of trauma, overcome life’s challenges, and build healthier, more fulfilling lives. Anna also works with identity, self-image, & self-esteem concerns.
Anna utilizes Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Internal Family Systems (IFS) to support clients in their healing journeys. She has also received training in Trust-Based Relational Intervention (TBRI) and incorporates systems-based approaches and attachment theory into her work. These approaches help clients develop a deeper understanding of themselves, their relationships, and how their experiences shape their interactions with the world around them.
Anna’s therapeutic approach is person-centered and grounded in the belief that every individual has the capacity to heal, grow, and thrive. She strives to create a warm, welcoming, and supportive therapeutic environment where clients feel safe, valued, and empowered to work toward their goals. Anna is committed to ensuring each client feels seen and heard and hopeful, regardless of where they are starting their therapy journey.
Anna joined RISE in October 2026 and is dedicated to supporting clients as they pursue healing, personal growth, and lasting positive change.
