Carrie holds a Bachelor of Science in Child and Family Services from Iowa State University and a Master of Arts in School Counseling from University of Iowa. She is currently pursuing an Advanced Studies Certificate in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from University of Northern Iowa with an anticipated completion of August 2027. Carrie has been a school counselor since 2010.
Through our intern rate, Carrie provides virtual sessions.
Carrie is passionate about providing a safe, non-judgmental, and empathetic space where clients can feel supported while moving through life’s challenges. She seeks to provide an integrative approach in order to meet clients’ unique needs. She is particularly interested in expanding her knowledge of anxiety, life transitions, ADHD, and emotion regulation.
Carrie began her internship with RISE in August 2026.
