Kayti received her Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice and Criminology from Metropolitan State University of Denver and her Master of Social Work, with a Trauma Informed Care Specialization, from University of Northern Iowa. Kayti has worked in various settings including: juvenile court, law enforcement, mental health crisis response, PMIC day treatment, & school-based social work. Kayti has been a therapist since 2018 and is a Licensed Independent Social Worker (LISW).
Kayti provides virtual counseling services and primarily works with adults. She specializes in working with trauma, body-based challenges, and neurodivergence. She also has experience working with sexual trauma, grief and loss, and severe mental health needs.
Anyone in the state of Iowa can meet with Kayti virtually, which eliminates barriers of transportation, drive time, inclement weather, and illness.
Kayti began her career with RISE in August 2022 and was promoted to Internship Coordinator in April 2025.
