Services & Bio
Renee Friedrichsen holds a Bachelor of Arts from St. Ambrose University and a Master of Science in Education from Western Illinois University. She is currently enrolled in the University of Northern Iowa’s Advanced Studies Certificate in Clinical Mental Health Counseling program. Renee has been involved in secondary education since 1997 and served as a professional school counselor since 2007.
Through our intern rate, she provides school-based services at Cal-Wheat CSD and office-based services at our DeWitt office.
Renee possesses a deep understanding of adolescent development, trauma-informed care, and believes in proactive mental health support in schools. She easily connects with others and is committed to guiding individuals through social and emotional challenges, while fostering an environment of trust and personal growth.
Renee began her internship with RISE in August 2026.
